Since January 2008, Hans-Joachim Stuck takes on the role of motor sport representative for Volkswagen
His cross-brand tasks will include advising the board of directors on motor sport issues, and cooperating on the strategic development of possible new sporting commitments for the concern’s brand. In addition, Stuck will support motor sport communication and represent the company at motor sport associations, motor sport events and classic events.
“Striezel” Stuck (56) is one of the best-known deutschen Rennfahrer (racing drivers) and respected racing experts in Germany. His new role sees him return to a company, with which he was closely connected in the 90s. In 1990 Stuck won the DTM (German Touring Car Championship) in a Audi V8.
Stuck will report directly to Stephan Grühsem, general representative of Volkswagen AG, and head of corporate communication, external relations and investor relations.
